Here at bougi HQ, we do appreciate events with certain purpose, objective, you know, an overall point. The above, is prime example. On Friday 16th April, a fundraising lunch will be taking place at Meat Company's roof terrace (Adliya), in recognition of the 100th anniversary for sickle cell discovery.
Organizers are offering a 3 course lunch to beneifit the society, with all food revenues going to the Bahrain Society for sickle cell disease patient care.
With hope to raise awareness on sickle cell, as well as raise funds for future programs and projects, this event promises to be, extremely, worthwhile.
